- This tank sim shipped out way too soon. The original M1 Tank Platoon was king of all tank sims in its time, and by 1998 it was high time for a sequel. The game ships with five campaigns: Gulf War, North Africa, Far East, Moldavia, and a fictitious War World III scenario. This is the one point of the game where you can choose difficulty settings.
- The tank integrates joint tactical radio system (JTRS) handheld, man-pack, and small form fit radio to ensure network readiness and interoperation with future brigade combat teams (BCTs). The MBT measures 9.7m-long, 3.7m-wide and 2.4m-high, and is manned by a crew of four, including a driver, a commander, a loader and a gunner.

This upgrade should be installed ONLY over v1.14 or greater!(You can verify the version number by looking at the upper right hand corner of the splash screen when you start up SB.) If you have an earlier version, install v1.14 patch below first!
To install the upgrade, first create a temporary folder on you computer, called SBTemp. (You can do this using Windows Explorer.) Click on a link below and save the file to SBTemp. After the download is complete, find SBUpgrade1195.zip in SBTemp and unzip the contents into SBTemp. (You will need a program like WinZip to do this.) Now, find SBUpgrade1195.exe. in the SBTemp folder and run it. You must have the original Steel Beasts CD in order to install this upgrade. After the upgrade has been successfully installed, you can delete the SBTemp folder.
